What if the zap didn’t occur on damus but occurred on zaplinks.lol or a separately hosted website? The zap ⚡️ button would open of the note in zaplinks and you can zap there.

Would be a bunch of extra clicks but may satisfy the zapple overlords.

Could probably add a shortcut the eliminate some clicks
