Like that would go over well with their neighbors 🙄

Only neighboring countries that would have objections are Belarus and Russia. Belarus already hosts Russian nukes since this year.

Think about what you’re saying. Russia is not cool with Ukraine joining NATO out of fear of nukes nearby but would be fine with them developing the tech?

Not a chance.

And Russia is not afraid of NATO nukes nearby, that’s propaganda bullshit, to cover up imperial conquests. Nobody had ideas about deploying nukes in Eastern Europe before Russia invaded Ukraine. Now Poland wants to host them.

Poland further away. Belarus and Ukraine serve as a buffer zone much same as NK for China. No way Russia will allow nukes in Ukraine

Poland has border with Russia (Kaliningrad, which is main base for Russian Baltic Sea fleet). Belarus is relatively small, that distance would change minutes for short range tactical nuclear missiles (nobody talks about strategic nukes here). And Poland is already closer to second biggest Russian city Saint Petersburg than Ukraine.

Fair point. Maybe concern is more for attack on capital 🤷‍♂️

Ukraine is fairly big and closer to Moscow than say Poland

Ukraine currently does not possess delivery methods capable of carrying nuclear warheads for such a long range.

Isn’t that the point …
