I’m just a lazy person regarding social media and at the time I was dealing with too many platforms. I’m getting deeper into the BTC culture and can confirm my initial suspicion that the Bitcoin community is beautiful. You all make everybody feel welcome, and that’s very refreshing. I’m going back home tonight after 4 great days in Helsinki and I know it won’t be my last event.
that's great to hear! my experiences have been similar. after attending one event, you just want to attend more and it's because of the people. everyone is so friendly, caring, and just fun loving and overly positive. it's great to be around like minded folks.

I’d kill to go to El Salvador in November, maybe I could light a few candles to get an invitation from the president (one can only hope).

Unrelated. . I just wanted to confirm that your Lightning address on your profile still works and is accurate? I ask because about a year ago or so, maybe longer, Alby changed to a paid model and most people's Lightning addresses stopped working if they were on the free tier. It's possible that I'm zapping you and you're not getting these (but Alby is collecting them). if you're looking for an easy to use and free solution, a lot of people are using nostr:npub1w27mc4aa6m0ufe3xs5z3m6qyr52gc0rglept7vqlwx4xeaf72tasnqz70r but you can also use nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq too. it's also very easy to use and free.

Ah. I see you went with Primal. Yes, they require KYC because they use Strike as their backend. The two options I mentioned do not. It's all good though. The important part is you're now able to receive zaps!
I still like Damus, it’s just I couldn’t connect the wallet of Satoshi there. I’ll use both I guess
You can actually use Primal and create a Nostr Wallet Connect string and add that to Damus and Zap from Damus if you'd like. It's a bit confusing maybe at first, but super cool if you want to use one wallet in all of your apps.
