I really wish the use of Nostr as the tool and engine for a secure voting system would be entertained. I guess I'm the only one who thinks there's a chance. What is used to verify the identity of voters today? Photo IDs and Driver Licenses? Send me one private and public key . NostrVote.io could send them to me after verifying by tax return, drivers licenses , electric bills to my home address that I am in fact a real person.. I log in, I receive my keys, and I vote. I think after paper ballots on watermarked official paper & identification this could be the most secure way to vote. NostrVote would have the records. What am I missing? I'd love some folks smarter than me on the workings of Nostr ( and that's most everyone on here) to take up this important issue. Voting on the blockchain.. Let's hear from a few Patriots..
