This is biased logic. We should be able to get the free healthcare we are paying taxes for.

It’s not the same at least in QC.

even if you do not have private insurance, you can have access to free healthcare in hospitals, and medication.

If you have private insurance, you will be using that instead, especially to get medication, etc..

The problem in Canada, is the lack of resources, not enough doctors, and nurses to cover everyone’s needs.

Ah I see.

I had a friend who immigrated from China to Canada and even 15 years ago she was telling me this problem and how she knows ppl that have died waiting for their surgery dates.

Yeah, for regular appointments for something that’s not urgent. You will have to wait at least a year…
