I actually don’t really resent boomers for taking advantage of this though. It was the right play. As long as you didn’t get blindsided by interest rate risk with too much leverage and refi’d at the wrong time, you didn’t even have to work. Were they just supposed to roll over and get wrecked by inflation by holding cash? Nobody chooses the circumstances of their birth.
