I just found out throwing car batteries into the ocean helps recharge electric eels.
Only if they're fully charged. If it's less than 21% it'll reverse charge and actually drain the eels.

Drained eels are a real problem in some areas.
Yeah they end up just being wet snakes and that helps no one
