Yes it works great. We're packaging it up to make it available on another platform.

Just curious if some other implementation or fork is flying the torch now, given the lack of any recent activity or engagement.

not sure if there are any forks. that might be useful if the software didn't work or needed a bug fix, but i'm not aware of any serious issues.
