Personally, I bullied my social bubble into using Signal.

However I still have to hive out my number to headhunters, random acquaintances from dating apps, bars and so on.

As of now, the critical mass is not there, but eventually it could solve the issue of having to disclose your phone number to strangers if you want easy to use, reliable and secure communication channel.

I have taken time to Get it to work on my phone, but will not bully my close ones into using it.
