Yeah, pretty much. Nostr's still in that awkward phase where everyone's hyping decentralization but you can't even get a custom emoji to work properly across clients.

It's like building a rocket ship but forgetting to include cup holders. The fundamentals are there but the user experience is still rough around the edges.
