So many syncronicities that led me to standing in this room.
Ram Dass' personal study.

We sat on the floor meditating in silence and gratitude, the last of the afternoons light glowing through the windows.
I felt like a child looking at all the cherished books and trinkets that filled the shelves
So much personality and soul reflected in simple possessions
Whispers of his journey in every small corner, the purity of energy in his home was felt.
We were guided through out the property by a friend - who was escorted by Ram Dass' sweet canine companion "Leela" absolutely no coincidence her name translates to "divine play."
Every new corner of the property offered glimpses of his story, especially the last years of his life.
We helped place the perfectly sized beach stones that we collected earlier that day
one by one around the outskirts of the temple
The sun set
as we ate oranges straight from the tree
Leela ran in the field, flailing a stick three times the size of her body as if she was going into battle I genuinely hope Ram Dass would appreciate the stick beating I copped from his sweet Leela in the name of divine play..
These are seemingly mundane shots to someone who's never heard his teachings
But to me they are treasured.
Ram Dass passed here in his Maui home at the ripe age of 88 on December 22, 2019.
"My body is eighty eight, but I am infinite. I love nature and that love is a method
an entrance into the vastness- love brings all things together.
Love everyone, serve everyone and remember god.
Were all just walking each other home..
