⚡Version 1.12.0 of RaspiBlitz Released⚡

New data layout with optional NVMe boot on Pi 5. On Proxmox now separate data & storage drives. Still works on Pi 4 - but 64GB SD card + 2TB SSD/NVMe now recommended. Many updates & fixes.

Is it possible to run on an old x86 and replace start9?

Pi’s are about as expensive as a refurbished micro pc. Can i install, run headless and ssh into it.

Yes its possible - you need to install a plain headless debian12 and then run the raspiblitz build script: wget --no-cache https://raw.githubusercontent.com/raspiblitz/raspiblitz/v1.12/build_sdcard.sh && sudo bash build_sdcard.sh -u raspiblitz -b v1.12 -f 0 -d headless

Thank you! Especially for improving the Proxmox UE. IMHO the best pleb node.

Zaps got to your co-dev nostr:nprofile1qqs24sraj5yfee4d7z9ez4k58sdy4dv5ccfsklwtztkpnyqgckqe5tcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxnhwden5te0dehhxarj9ecxcctww3ex7mmw9e3k7mf0qyv8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnpwf68stndv9exket59uac2cm4 (no LN wallet at your npub).

BTW: Sorely missed your DJ set recently in CGN 😉

do you know if this changes the upgrade procedure for proxmox ?

For those wondering:

When ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️ sir?

Looks like the chief developer of Raspiblitz finally managed to setup a LN wallet on Nostr.

It feels a little ironic that I can't zap your posts.

It fixed my LND issue too ⚡️ very happy noderunner here

This node running #Raspiblitz v1.12.0, Bitcoin Core v29.0 on RPi5 8GB + 2TB nvme, dbcache=4096, peering on Tor and I2P only has finished this morning in 2 days 16 hours (or 64 hours).

Should test syncing on clearnet next, then Bitcoin Core v30.

Hello, what case can be used to fit all the new components ?

I prefer no case .. the nvme base is attached at the bottom and has gummi nobs to stand on.

Thanks nostr:nprofile1qqsdzexh3s943m0tyt25jskv7tup2kl053wupcm30nqls8g0zy69r0cprfmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuurn093ksmm9wshxuetcw4eszynhwden5te0wp6hyurvv4cxzeewv4es2zpc20 for the advice. Is there any advantage in upgrading to a 16 GB Raspberry pi 5 and a NVMe Crucial P3 plus SSD 4 TB drive m.2 PCIe Gen 4?

2TB should give you plenty of space and is now recommended. 4TB should work too, but might still be expensive.
