“Visual art stopped being about making anything a long time ago. It's all about talking. The talking is what you make.”
“Doesn't visual art have to be something to see?”
I definitely felt this when I went through art school. I wanted to learn to draw like Michelangelo, they wanted me blindfolded and using my opposite hand.
