I wouldn’t use this because no really cares where I am, and I also prefer my privacy.

But.

This does enable a lot for those that want to connect with others in an area, enables easy connections for events and the like. For those that want this, for those who want to share location when posting pictures, etc etc - this is huge!

And the beauty of nostr is that not everything has to fit into everyone’s preference and likes.
