People on nostr shouldn't be getting fooled by fake accounts. But I keep hearing about it. Multiple clients now will show you if a person is well-followed by your network or is a stranger with 0 followers. We need to get that feature into all the clients because apparently some people are falling for scams.

how about a trust score displayed on a scale from 0 to 100 right next to your name / avatar ?

like a credit card score.

it is up to you whether to give any weight to the trust score or not.

it should simply be calculated and displayed.

Gossip simply counts how many people that you follow happen to follow the account.

to this day i am this fool's only follower it seems so his score would be zero

i'm afraid there may be no solution for people like him who attack everybody who talks to them LOL
