If you must use your Nostr private keys to login to multiple nostr clients, how do you know that the client real and not just someone stealing your keys?

You can use signing apps so you don’t go slinging your private nsec key around everywhere. One app hold the key and can log you in to most places by signing an event. I use a browser-based one here https://nsec.app/
