When using something like Filter.nostr.wine is it free to read but you have to pay to write to the relay? Or is it paid to read and write?

I believe it’s free to read & paid to write. You can add wss://filter.nostr.wine for read access

Then the paid version has you re-add the relay with your npub attached. I think the readme above details exactly how that works

FYI I flipped on both Filter.nostr.wine and relayable.org in my universe feed and filtered out all other relays , and I’m not getting any notes showing up. So further investigation is warranted.

Did you restart the client too? (Which nostr client are you using btw)?

Oh, try instead

wss://nostr.wine

And

wss://welcome.nostr.wine

It may be that the filter version is paid to read as well

Yeah that’s correct. Filter is a paid to read/write but nostr.wine is free to read!
