I don't think it's needed since we have a better feedback mechanism with zaps.

The argument could be made that zaps aren’t needed either. Just as some argue too that hearts aren’t needed. Anyway, what I’m perplexed by is the negativity against any indicator(s) such as Zaps, hearts, and dislikes. Why not….?

I suppose it isn't needed for most of the "other stuff" that can be transmitted by relays, but...

All those kinds of feedback increase engagement, which us a pretty good metric to pay attention to, IMO.
