Niger flips the script on France!

After years of being exploited by its former colonial master, Niger has raised the price of uranium from 0.8 to 200 euros per kilogram. The move is a major victory for the Nigerien people, who have long been demanding a fairer deal for their country's natural resources.

The price hike is a direct result of the recent political changes in Niger. In july 2023, the Nigerien junta overthrew their president, who was widely seen as a puppet of France. The new government is committed to putting the interests of the Nigerien people first, and the uranium price hike is a sign of that commitment.

The price hike is also a major blow to France. The country is heavily reliant on uranium imports from Niger, and the price hike is likely to drive up the cost of nuclear power in France. This could have a significant impact on the French economy.

The Nigerien people's victory over France is a major milestone in the fight for resource sovereignty. It is a reminder that when people stand up for their rights, they can achieve great things.

Just look at market prices for uranium, it's a lot less. How can Niger sell higher than market price?
