In the harsh winter of 304 AD, Martyr Dassie, a Roman soldier, stood firm in his #faith. Chosen by his peers as a leader for the pagan festival of Saturnalia in Durostorum, he refused to wear the masks and participate in the idolatrous rites. Instead, he confessed his belief in #JesusChrist. For his unwavering devotion, he was subjected to cruel tortures and ultimately beheaded.
