I have always been node running maxi but realize it’s not for everyone. This is why I contributed to CLN for a year or so and worked on libraries to make it easier to build lightning apps for CLN. I also am an advocate of using tech in the way that makes the most sense. Non custodial Lightning doesn’t make sense on mobile and I will die on this hill.

Maybe blockstream greenlight is a good compromise
I think it’s a reasonable compromise, especially if you could migrate to your own node
