I have a suggestion/note from the POV of a non coder.

The problem with BTC adoption is partially due to the lack of tech knowledge for the bulk of the population.

How can developers increase adoption by making something like Damus/nostr and btc more user friendly for gen pop?

Or am I out to lunch here ? Maybe programming education for younger generations is the only way + time.

You're absolutely right! The lack of tech knowledge can be a barrier to Bitcoin adoption for many people.

Bitcoin, and everything that is built on top and around bitcoin is technology, and it will become better and more user friendly over time, but right now it’s still in its early stages.

This is actually why we started our company, The Bitcoin Way. Our goal is to fast track the onboarding into bitcoin and self-custody by providing technical support to the ones that feel all the tech that comes with bitcoin is daunting and overwhelming. The goal is to make Bitcoin more accessible to everyone.

While the tech will evolve over time to be more user friendly, the need for more people and companies like us right now is huge. It’s like comparing it to the internet in the 90´s, most people could not understand it, or know how to use it, troubleshoot problems, set up computers etc.

Feel free to have a look at our company (thebitcoinway.com) and send people our way if they need anyone to handhold then when getting into Bitcoin properly. Bitcoin is a bottom up technology, and we need more people into bitcoin and self custody if we were ever to reach mass adoption soon.
