Running a LN node in a dedicated server is no trivial.
It won't scale to every user.

For those that don't, there's custodial which supports receiving through LNURL (which was the original point).
The original point was that with bolt11 invoices I can send and receive in non-custodial way without needing to run my LN node.
And I can't do that with LNURL, at least the receiving part.
