what's your position on Hamas releasing the hostages in relation to the ceasfire?

I don’t know. It’s obviously incredibly hard. I just can’t get over tens of thousands of civilians dying and two million basically starving. Let’s stop the killing first and we can figure it out. Better options could include defunding/boycotting hamas and economic & diplomatic pressure. Maybe limited military operations to specifically rescue hostages are permissible, but mass bombing of civilian areas must be deemed unacceptable imho.

I don’t have all the answers, I just want mass civilian death to stop.

Odd that your position wouldn't be to call for the release of the hostages - elderly, children and women being raped - and then instany there would be a ceasefire

Blows my mind that people who want a cease fire refuse to state clearly and unequivocally that the hostages must be releaased

Until then there will be no ceasefire. Would you leave your daugter with rapists and tell your wife to stop fighting for them and we'll figure it out later?

As awful as was is - for the dead and injured on both sides - the causualty rate is a tiny fraction of Syria, Ukraine, Yemen and many others where is the hand wringing over those conflicts?

Fair to call out that hostages must be released and those conflicts are always underreported. I would agree there.
