The only real DDOS in Bitcoin is a sustained 51% attack with empty blocks.

Which if done would be forked and the attackers would have wasted tremendous resources to do nothing but cause a slight hiccup.

I'm in Bitcoin because I believe it's the best money. I'm in Bitcoin because it can't be controlled or debased. If I thought it could, I'd be in Gold.
