What a beauty of a stone. Almost ready to start sanding and polishing.

For anyone new, this commission began with a 1000lb block of orange honeycomb calcite. A few hundred pounds carved away and here we are.

Thank you. Yes that’s the plan. Sanding to a very high grit. Then an anti UV coating to prevent color loss.
