I’ve never run into a bitcoin ATM in real life. Do you buy bitcoin by inserting your fiat or can you buy the local currency with bitcoin?

Most of them let you buy bitcoin with fiat, but unfortunately these things are now full on KYC Bitcoin vending machines. I never use them.

To be fair they does the job of getting normies used to the fact that Bitcoin is here and it is not “magic internet money” any more.
