I see many Bitcoiners give up on Bitcoin education and blame it on people being ignorant.

Consider the possibility that you have room for improvement, and get better 🫵

I’ve gotten most of my close friends and family to accumulate at least some Bitcoin over the past 4 years. All have a sled-custody setup.

The most important thing is that people trust the person who is talking about Bitcoin. If they trust them, their words have weight. Another important thing is relating Bitcoin to models / definitions they already understand.

Great talk nostr:npub1vwlazqm4rearynuef92ccxw5jwa6kgkupztxvz3lklj9ehqv9xpq8wr934. Do you think bitcoin in general has a "brand" problem which makes it harder to talk to people about it? My perception (european here) is that most don't like to talk or even think about money. On top of that most have heard about bitcoin and have formed beliefs/mindset about it, which usually isn't positive. Double hurdle to have a decent conversation.

It has been given a brand problem by media in many places, so yeah you start from the negative side of the scale in many cases, which requires more patience, creativity, and experience to get through.

It took me 7 years to understand I don't need to convince and push people into #bitcoin.
