⚡️📱 NEW - Fake SMS messages posing as Binance are on the increase.

Scammers want to trick you by telling you that your account is "in danger" and then prompt you to call fake support numbers or click on dangerous links.

It's also worth noting that messages or calls from scammers display the name "Binance" directly on your phone, which can seem extremely reassuring to victims.

So far I’ve got emails from Coinbase (have account, no Bitcoin on exchange), Tether (don’t own Tether wallet) and Gemini (have an account, they sent to the wrong email). I generally keep my Bitcoin in Cold Storage and ignore all emails.

There are fake Coinbase messages, too. My wife got one and she doesn’t even have a Coinbase account.

I’ve gotten at least 10 of these messages over the last year.

Looks like the toxic bitcoin self custody maxis were right yet again. They must be so tired of winning.
