I spent some more time working on my node over the last couple of days. I now have Prometheus with Grafana set up for monitoring Eclair (this is a nice feature of Eclair) and I’ve opened another 3 channels. I doubt I’ll see very much routing through it yet and there is still a lot to learn about Eclair but so far everything seems to be working well. nostr:note1dlw7v07jz9j36lk8eglnxun4ewnqvgn8gfrkuzenmz5y7w68jk2qsgya5k

You can also be sure your channels won’t randomly catch on fire due to some stupid LND bug.. unless your peer is LND
This was the main reason I eventually decided to move away from my old Umbrel/LND node. Mine was reasonably stable but every once in a while it would have issues resulting in FCs.. Hopefully I’ll have less issues with Eclair.
The only FCs I had with CLN:
- Network with stuck HTLC
- LND
i used to want to fork btcd and lnd but where to find the funding to do the work... and it's a good year to clean up that mess for one person
hows the tooling availability?
