This has fed vibes. Lol

Couldn't agree more!

We need more unknown miners

I replied on wrong note. 🤦‍♂️I couldn't agree more with your stance. 😁 Incentives are aligning. Nations are jumping on this magical ship.

MOAAAAAR!

It’s raked over 50% in the past few hours. 😂

Who or what it is…. Wow

I’m wrong. My math is wrong

Assuming it’s the same entity, they’re averaging around 5-10% of the total hash in the last day

This is “unknown” over the last year or so. Not sure how reliable the unknown bucket is as it could be a catch-all

What was the reason for the previous Unknown spike in September 2022?

I’m not sure, but I wouldn’t read too much into it. While on the one hand it might appear to be a secretive nation-sate deploying hash, the more likely explanation is that it’s a technical miscategorization

Regardless another opportunity to learn. 😀

Btw… I don’t read. #[4] does it for me.

He reads for the three of us 💜

Balances itself out

El Salvador testing their volcano mining set up? 🤔

I want this to be true.

Has to be a nation state. It would be one really lucky pleb for it to not be.

Yeah, no way that’s luck. It’s near 50% of the last 15 blocks.

It’s my JADE mining solo 😹

PutinPool

Ya its gotta be Russia, right?

Always. It’s always Russia. Fucking commies 😅

New player has entered the game, not messing around either. More will follow…

the coinbase says F2Pool, maybe new payout address and mempool didnt add it yet

Aliens

I was watching last night and I’m like that’s cool. Then I check again this morning and it’s raking blocks. 👀 🤔

Governments coming in?

Its f2pool, check op_return

More competition is good, right?

BUT:

I was wondering the other day:

What would happen if someone built a sufficiently large quantum computer optimized for bitcoin mining?

Mining difficulty would adjust so hard that it would be almost impossible to "win" blocks with normal ASICs - so the quantum miner would have the ability to perform a 51% attack.

What do you think?
