I will dabble in mining a new proof of work coin from time to time if it does something interesting.
I mined about 40k PKT because it had an interesting PoW mechanism that nobody had tried before.
I traded half the stack for Bitcoin when it got listed on a couple exchanges.
It's since been delisted on one of the two exchanges and is trading barely a tick above zero on the other, so the other half of the stack is pretty much worthless. But the Bitcoin I did get was worth way more than the watts of electricity that I spent mining it early on. 🤷
The concept behind this project was a good idea, but they should have just used Bitcoin lightning to monetize their bandwidth sharing network instead of coming up with a new coin.
