The thing that bothers me the most about "BRC-20" is that it is just a play on "ERC-20" which is the Ethereum standard for shitcoins. ERC stands for Ethereum Request for Comments and it is at least an attempt at pretending to be an open source process with an actual repository: https://github.com/ethereum/ERCs

"BRC-20" is just a novel way to use Ordinals and stole its name from ERC-20. There is no technical relationship between ERC-20 and BRC-20.

BRC-20 isn't the twentieth of any Bitcoin Request for Comments because that doesn't exist; BIPS are the mechanism by which new bitcoin proposals are handled and their repo is here: https://github.com/bitcoin/bips

There is no "BRC". There is not twenty of them. And BRC-20 isn't in any way related to ERC-20, which is a just a shitty ETH shitcoin standard.

The whole thing is just a shit sandwich.
