A few weeks ago, I saw one of my wife's childhood friend's at a baby shower.
He thought bitconnect was going to be the next bitcoin. He told me he wished he kept some of the bitcoin he had back then.
That's the worst thing about shitcoin Ponzi schemes.
They rip-off good people and poison the well. He didn't study bitcoin because he wanted fiat and bitconnect promised ot would give him more fiat.
That's why I don't talk about the price much anymore. I tell people I am into using bitcoin, but because I hate the traditional fractional reserve banking system. Bitcoin is the only full reserve "banking" system. That's why I use it.
I'm more of an activist than an "investor."
This often makes people uncomfortable though. I'm not sure why.
