Read the book, "These Are the Plunderers: How Private Equity Runs—and Wrecks—America" by Gretchen Morgenson.

PE is ruining everything. Their latest target the last decade has been medical industry and nursing/assisted living homes.

It's going to be a disaster in a decade or less.

Sadly the cause here is the fiat system - these people are incentivized to harvest fiat fast and let the businesses die (all in the name of efficiency of course).
