Sounds like a natural fit as the nostr users desperately need non custodial async payments.

However you would also have to implement connections to on chain wallets / Bitcoin fullnodes to manage the channel opening transactions.

That sounds like a whole lot of work to do for a nostr client, so maybe the preferable way would rather be:

Implement hedgehog channels and nostr communications into existing Bitcoin node management software, such as RTL, Thunderhub, Lndg, cloud9, umbrel...
