Sometimes it just hits me how much I care.
I put my whole heart into conversations β show up curious, present, genuine β and still end up met with silence.
I know people drift, I know life gets messy. But it still hurts when energy isnβt met, when presence fades into nothing.
Because when I show up, I mean it. Always have, always will.

Better to match people's energy (if you can). That way you won't be upset when they don't appear to meet your expectations.

Yep true, that's the chance we take sometimes.. but as you know, pretty exhausting to do all the time!
