I like usng NewPipe to watch you tube videos. There are no ads and you can download them for later.

YT alternatives are PipePipe, Tubular, LibreTube, NewPipe, SkyTube. Try and use what works best for you. I use NewPipe.

There is an app called Spotube for Spotify. I never used it because I don't use Spotify.

+1 for newpipe. I just use shazam to find similar songs to ones Iā€™m listening to. Then dl a hard copy of ones I like
