This is my exoerience too . The Norwegians are similar.

I was in an Irish bar in Norway with my wife and child , clearly a grown ass man , and they wouldnt let me have a Guinness because I didn't have ID. In a fucking Irish bar, as an Irishman.

We were the only ones in there apart from some guy reading a newspaper.

She said "Sorry, rules are rules."

I left a big shit for her to flush before leaving .
