I love Primal's overall smoothness compared to Amethyst.
The OP comment is interesting though, because I just spent a couple of days “re-trying” primal and my replies absolutely did not show up about 50% of the time.
The YMMV experience with clients is wild right now.
Same, I prefer Primal over the other apps I have installed (Nostur & Damus)
I get the opposite behavior.
