Can't wait for it to be usable
0xchat? Why isnโt it usable yet?
Its buggy AF
Notifications nake noise but no notification
Problems with media saving and uploads
No idea when people are calling
Not running in Background well
I have it on my families phone and it's basically unusable now.
Glad someone else brought this up. I have downloaded it 3 separate times and have this experience
It works great with amber
Havenโt tried amber yet. I ordered a refurbished pixel. Soon โข
Where can I install Amber?
You can download from github, Go to release tab for all the download options. You can also use F-Droid. Btw, if you are using github, add it in your Obtainium for quick updates.
Bookmarking this. Iโm also very curious about Obtainum
Both are awesome.
Now that Amber has bunker support it is indispensable. I'll never have to give anything else my nsec again.
Obtainium basically let's you build your own app store from GitHub. I use it for any app possible these days.

https://github.com/zapstore/zapstore is pretty cool too.
Zap store is a nostr app store?
Yes!
Can we add progressive web applications too?
(PWA)
PWAs are planned, it's one way we'll support iOS.
Also experimented with packaged PWAs, that don't require visiting a website
I recommend suggesting to the developer that they convert their PWA into a Trusted Web Activity (TWA) APK using the PWABuilder website.
It's a straightforward process that only takes a few clicks & APK will be also verified by PWA codebase.
Play Store and the App Store both suggest this approach for PWAs.
Thank you!
Nice! Bookmarked
If you're looking for an app that can help you organize all your Nostr Native apps and web applications/websites in one place, complete with an app launcher and a native custom tab browser, then look no further! ๐ค๐ค
Excellent! Thanks!
By the way, if there are any extra features you'd like to see, please don't hesitate to mention them. The app is still in its early beta version, and I created it primarily for my own use.
I needed something like this! ๐
Good to know! Once I try it Iโll let you know. Soon โข ๐

And for thePWAs that we add as URLs in the second page, would it be possible to add them as icons, maybe with the apps even?
nostr:nprofile1qqsvdac80utfn4gvly4fv54la0l6cp0udpptnm3ezzyajkdc44w53lgpzemhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuvrcvd5xzapwvdhk6qgdwaehxw309aukzcn49ekk2qghwaehxw309aex2mrp0yh8x6tpd4ehgu3wvdhk68na3xp and unless I'm missing it, perhaps a delete function on long press or check selection for urls or notes?
Otherwise slick for application selection. ๐
Been fiddling with this for the last day, got rid of about 3 or 4 grouped folder things on my home screen that I was always fiddling with.
After some adjustments of finger habits, I think I like the one app in alphabetical order as a launchpad without having to scroll through a couple sub 'pages' or whatever in the way I had it set up before.
Simple but feels like it cleaned me up some. ๐ซก
I have to install this one
I didn't think I'd like the big grid of everything but I actually do.
I haven't messed around with the saved url links or notes. I wish the few PWAs could be pinned like the apps, but don't hate the consolidation.

I like the grid too. For the urls I put nostr build tenor and a news site so far
Fffffff I didn't even think of nostr.build ๐คฆ

You can add any open-source app by copying and pasting the app's GitHub repository link in Obtainium. Obtainium will notify you when the developer uploads any new release and one-click update installation.
download link for Obtainium.
Thanks! Bookmarked as well
Why not download both from zap.store instead?
The Amber release for example is signed by the developer himself. We hope to do the same for 0xchat soon
Is there a difference in getting an app from zap store vs github?
Actually zap.store fetches most apps from Github. But with additional security guards (checking hashes signed by the dev), web of trust display and better discovery. And soon zaps. Obviously Github directly has way more apps, but we're getting there.
Is there something like Amber for ios?
Good to know, appreciate the heads up!
Thanks you!
