Let's say Trump wins the presidential election easily, and the Republicans win the House and the Senate. What could feasibly stop Trump or give him an 'excuse' not to follow through with his promises on #Bitcoin? #asknostr

All politicians lie, correct?

Pretty much

Correct 🙌

If a politician is on the national (or even State) leve, then yes they lie. They have to in order to "move up" in the world of politics.

You can find some good politicians on the local level, but in order to move up, you've got to become part of the corruption (or you just don't get the support needed at the next level).

(As an aside, that's why Trump is such a threat--because he didn't come up through the system, he never owed anyone "favors" along the way, and consequently he's not "owned" by any political party...)

But in summary, all politicians are corrupt.

His dishonesty and the incentive to perpetuate the dollar system that he benefits from.

Indeed 🙌

📈🚀

The only good thing he accomplished his first term was to not start any new land wars.

Being the least worst is not an accomplishment. He chose swamp monsters for his appointees and didn't seem to have any clue what the president of the country can and can't do.

I'm not expecting much from him or a supermajority of republitwits. They had that the first half of Trump's term and they squandered it by doing nothing.

You're speaking facts 🗣️🗣️

Cuz I'm not part of the clown show anymore, so, I can afford to tell the truth.

And for balance, whats your score card for Biden ?

Child sniffing incestual rapist thief fraud.

That's me being polite.

It's simpler: Trump has run his entire life on debt and bad money. He does not understand or cares about what #Bitcoin is.

He has no incentive to do anything good for Bitcoin as soon as he gets in office.

Bitcoiners supporting him will learn the hard way.

Idiot

Another view.

Trump has been royal SCREWED by the system several times. He borrowed 100s of millions to get rug pulled by politicians creating new laws and money being printed.

He fully understands the impact of fiat on his businesses.

Will he do anything about it? I don't know - but he definitely has experienced the wrath of fiat.

I think we stand a chance he really will add #Bitcoin to the reserves. It's the only solution to maintaining a dollar system - which backed by Bitcoin would 'probably' be best for us all.

Bitcoin and the US dollar are in direct competition

Maybe because he seldom tells the truth, so it would be easy for him to do something else and give zero f**ks.

The Senate filibuster, for starters.
