It depends on client behaviour, if they are also marking your current changes as latest so it can't be changed by any other client just your public key. But those backup files will have list of all your following.

Maybe we also a need bulk following app, btw can you also send me your latest backup file, when you had all the followers. I am travelling right now whenever I am free I will start looking into it.
So this morning I had my whole follow list nuked. If you see an unfollow it wasn't me I am working on fixing this issue by refollowing 1 by 1. I was always backing up my npub data here https://nostrsync.live/ but seems like there is a client side issue when I try to revive everything broadcasting my backup. This isn't going pleasant for new users.
The mass follow app using the backup data could be a good fix for this situation. Appreciate the builders that work on fixing these issues.
Was thinking is there a way a client like Amethyst nostr:npub1gcxzte5zlkncx26j68ez60fzkvtkm9e0vrwdcvsjakxf9mu9qewqlfnj5z can run an auto backup service to device for users incase something happens, all follow lists and notes are fine after a simple rebroadcast?
