Sounds awesome.

I haven’t seen you post much about your home building or food forest; are these planned for the future or happening now? I’d be interested in seeing them develop.

I don't own property yet. So, it's all plans. But, if you know me in 4+ years, you'll see it start.

(That's the goal I've set for myself for paying off stupid debt and then stacking everything I can in order to buy land.)

Have you already designed your home? I’m a floor plans nerd. I have gone through phases where I just sit and design them one after another for fun / future planning. Getting the itch to do so again recently.

I heave a general plan in mind, though I do have some new additions that I need to adjust the plan to take those into account. (Including a bell tower. Yes. That's weird. No, I don't care.)

I freaking love it πŸ”” call them kids home

That's one use, yes.

I'm just saddened by the lack of real bells tolling on churches these days.

I've also been mostly convinced that sound can heal, even if that's pretty woowoo. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

If you haven’t settled on an area yet, might I suggest checking out southeast Missouri?

Farmington, MO is home to Bitcoin Ranch.

We have a group out here working on building a lot of parallels to what you mentioned: local food, connecting producers and consumers, fostering the circular economy.

Would love to have you out to one of the breakfasts.

Thank you for the suggestion, but, I am mostly considering the north of the north east due to family considerations. Plus, I'm an east coaster born and raised. πŸ˜…

It sounds like a really fascinating place, though, and if some circumstances change, I will consider this much more seriously. I can find work anywhere with my skill and wide range of experience, which is probably the best part of me. LOL.

Understandable.

Always interested in getting more bitcoiners and nostriches to move to our area. Don’t need to know a lot more about the person. Freedom oriented, willing to try out things that aren’t part of the current norm, yeah, we can live in the same town.

It honestly sounds pretty great. I just need mountains and preferably trees on mountains to feel at home. There's not a lot of that Missouri. 🀣

Parts of the Ozarks are not unlike the Appalachian Trail. But yes, there are a lot more options in that area.

That would be pretty great. I hear many good things about the Ozarks these days. If I had less familial attachments...
