Day 67 in 🇨🇷

A few insights from the jungle

Life is simple here

The birds, rain, insects, roosters and dogs can be noisy but the frequency of the noise is much more human than the noise of a city

Jungle rain can be incredibly intense but somehow it’s always calming

Life here is teaching me acceptance

Accepting that things are less convenient

Accepting that laundry takes more time when using an old school manual machine

Accepting that the power and wifi go out regularly

Accepting that ants in the kitchen and bugs in the house are part of the experience

Accepting that sometimes I get caught in jungle rain and it’s okay to get wet

Accepting that being sweaty in a humid home is the norm

The flip side of having less here is deep gratitude for simple things in 🇨🇦 that can easily be taken for granted

Reliable internet, a modern laundry machine, products delivered to our door by amazon

One of my goals is to bring a simpler way of life back to 🇨🇦
