Do you like also, or just 21⚡️? Does it limit your "like zaps"? Or you 21⚡️ anything that you would like with simple 💜?
I only 21⚡ but I am a bit more selective with my like zaps.
The more you like the less your likes are worth anyways. Someone who likes everything they see don't create much signal.

If you see a post, that gives you value, you can send back as much economic value (sats) as you wish.
What is the purpose of likes in this regard?
Did it give you value? Yes? How much?
Is there a need for a signal, that says "I agree with you, but I already knew this"? Or what does the like suppose to mean?
Likes are a way for you to draw attention to the thing you liked. But likes that cost nothing are broken since they can be farmed, making the system much more prone to manipulation.
I’m not fully convinced by this. A like serves as an acknowledgment that you’ve heard someone. Maybe what they’ve said doesn’t meet the bar of requiring a value exchange, but at least you can signal that you’ve heard them. It’s better than being ignored completely- something that should only be reserved for trolls
The effect of your like on the person who's note you liked (this thing is good, make/do more of it) isn't as important as the effect of the like on others who are being signalled to pay attention to the thing.
I almost feel like likes should only be visible to the author and zaps are public since the signal isn't free.
The real issue comes when likes are used as part of ranking algorithms since they can be farmed.
