Richard Nixon took America off the gold standard in 1971.

America went to the moon for the last time in 1972.

We have not been back to the moon since being on a pure fiat standard.

Could be cool. Maybe from a camera strapped to a little remote controlled buggy. You could control it from earth while watching through telescope
