A lot of people would lose their minds without internet, 25-year-olds and under don't know a world without it. There are many things 'they' could plan that we really have no control over so no point in freaking out over it, and if one believes it, then best to be prepared.

I was thinking about that today. The only way to resist it would be a completely off-grid solar setup which would run from $40-60k along with something like starlink. At best, especially in Winter, I think that's only a few percent of a population in a developed country, if they even have starlink available.

I dont think off grid solar wouldn't work in the UK. Not enough light.

Grid + diesel powered generator as a backup until nuclear plants become popular
