The Triffin dilemma as described on Wikipedia: The world needs that reserve currency and the country providing it will have trouble printing so much money for all the world. The US is bleeding a trillion dollars per year to the world right now!

As if these dollars had any intrinsic value?!?! How about this Dilemma:

You can't live off the work of other people and still keep in shape to carry your weight or even provide goods for others.

"Trade deficit" is literally "you receive more stuff from others than they receive from you". If money was limited then yes, you'd be living above your means and draining your reserves but it isn't, so the "trade deficit" is just you scamming the world and whining about it.

Funny how the world works, eh?

even if people need the dollars you can stop printing and their value will rise, it's easy
