Sounds plausible.
But itβs bad throughout. I fear that many more sites will follow in blocking VPNs. Reddit for instance blocks them already.
Thankfully Reddit still works with it's onion address.

That's how EU has been imposing their regulatory regime across different jurisdictions.
Companies tend to apply the most restrictive set of regulations they face across the board to homogenize processes and reduce the burden of complying with multiple regulatory regimes.
